Obituary Edna Jackson Deckard, 75, of Tompkinsville, passed away Wednesday, December 30 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.She was born April 7, 1940 in Monroe County, KY to the late Jodie Marcus Jackson and Virgie Dora (Jackson) Jackson. She was a member of Tompkinsville Church of Christ and co-owner of Deckard's Florist. She was united in marriage on April 4, 1964 to James Arnold Deckard in Tompkinsville.She is survived by her husband: James Arnold Deckard of Tompkinsville, one son: James L. Deckard and wife Mandy of Frankfort, KY, one brother: Bobby Jackson of Tompkinsville, two sisters: Lucille Huckelby of Summer Shade and Ruth Dodson of Indianapolis, IN, two grandsons: Henry and Levy Deckard.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two half brothers, David Mitchell Jackson and Harl Jackson, and one half sister, Loree JacksonFuneral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 2 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home.Memorials are suggested to a Special Fund at Tompkinsville Church of Christ.
