Delma Ree Emberton Turner, 91, of Bowling Green, formerly of Monroe County, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 in Bowling Green.She was born April 17, 1925 in South Bend, IN to the late Haskel Emberton and Ova Ellen Turner Emberton. She was a retired care giver.She is survived by two sons: Steven Turner and wife Karen of Greenwood, IN, Stewart Turner and companion Allen of Bowling Green, two daughters: Shelia Rink and husband Steve of Indianapolis, IN, Sherri Rhodes and husband Rick of Fishers, IN, one brother: Wendell Emberton of Tompkinsville, one sister: Jean Arterburn of Fishers, IN, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Garland Turner, three brothers: Lawrence, Carl and Ancil Emberton, two sisters: Ruth Ann Perdue and Eva Lois Turner.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 27 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and after 7:30 AM on Friday at Strode Funeral Home.Memorials are suggested to the Bethlehem Cemetery.
