Dannetta Earl (Fox) Emberton

Dannetta Earl (Fox) Emberton, age 62, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, while in the company of family, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, Kentucky. Dannetta was born in Marion County on May 8, 1959, a daughter of the late Delphia “Ree” (Webb) and Rex Clyde Fox. She was united in marriage to the late Albert H. Emberton on October 21, 1977. Dannetta was a 1977 high school graduate of Gamaliel High School. She worked at Kentucky Apparel for years, was a homemaker, and collected antiques and glassware. She attended Sand Lick Missionary Baptist Church.

Dannetta is survived by two daughters, Amanda D. Birge and husband Josh, of Glasgow, Kentucky and Maree D. Emberton, of White House, Tennessee; one sister, Debra Emberton and husband Ted, of Tompkinsville; two grandchildren, Simone Birge and Alice Karasuda; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Denise Walden and Dorothy Curtis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial Neal Cemetery. Bro. Mike Gammons will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until time for the service at 1:30 p.m.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the Monroe County Backpack Program in memory of Dannetta and can be made at the funeral home.
