Obituary
Cole Garrett Harlan, 19, of Tompkinsville, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. He was born October 9, 1995 in Glasgow, KY to Jennifer Cornelius McClard and Noel Harlan. He was a student at Western Kentucky University and a member of Tompkinsville Church of Christ. He is survived by his mother: Jennifer Cornelius McClard of Tompkinsville, father and step mother: Noel and Amy Harlan of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, one brother: Grayson Harlan and wife Kelsey of Tompkinsville, one sister: Maddy Harlan of Red Boiling Spgs., TN, grandmother: Margaret Nell Grider of Tompkinsville, great grandfather: Edward Honeycutt of Albany, KY, great grandmother: Jennie Mae Grider of Tompkinsville, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Rama and Opal Harlan and Jim Grider, great grandfather: Randall Grider and nephew: Nash Harlan. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 5 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Memorials are suggested to Kosair Children's Hospital.
