Clifford "Poodle" Cloyd

Obituary Clifford "Poodle" Cloyd, 73, of Tompkinsville, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. He was born March 3, 1940 in Monroe County, KY to the late David Cloyd and Ina Lee Murphy Cloyd. He was a retired auto dealer for G & H Auto Sales and a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by two daughters: Penny Hurt and husband Mark of Tompkinsville, Christy Pennington of Hendersonville, TN, two brothers: Reggie Cloyd and wife Faye of Tompkinsville, Hollis Cloyd and wife Danetta of Hampshire, TN, four sisters: Maggie Hammer of Beech Grove, IN, Adene Daniel, Arlene Downing & Sherry Poynter and husband Danny all of Tompkinsville, two grandchildren: Trent Logan Hurt and Chad Pennington. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Edsel and Tommy Cloyd. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 26 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with entombment in Monroe County Memorial Lawn Mausoleum.
