Charlotte Jean Lyon Hundley, 74, of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at her home.She was born July 1, 1941 in Tompkinsville to the late Cecil Herbert Lyon and Lucille Chapman Lyon. She was a member of Tompkinsville Church of Christ, a member of WKU Honorary Science Teachers Association, former director of Monroe County Recreation Association, a retired teacher, a member of Monroe County Retired Teachers Association and a member of William B. Harlan Library Board. She was united in marriage on May 25, 1959 to Charlton Clay Hundley, Jr., in Tompkinsville.She is survived by her husband: Charlton Clay Hundley, Jr. of Tompkinsville, one daughter: Nancy Clay Hundley Rich of New Hope, KY, one son: Charlton Hundley of Louisville, two sisters: Barbara Travis of Tompkinsville and Sharon Smith of Baton Rouge, LA.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 8 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Tompkinsville.Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral home in Tompkinsville.
