Obituary Champ Edward Daniels, 56, of Smith Grove formerly of Monroe County, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.He was born April 5, 1960 in Clay County, TN to the late Rex Daniels and Alta Hutchison Daniels. He worked for Farmers Livestock Market in Glasgow and was a member of Flippin Church of Christ. He was united in marriage on April 29, 1989 to the former Carrie Boyd.He is survived by his wife: Carrie Boyd Daniels of Smith Grove, one brother: Randy Daniels of Ft. Run, three nephews: Richard Rex Daniels of Smith Grove, Brandon Goad of Colorado, Andrew Goad of South Carolina and one niece: Ashley Boyd of Adolphus.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: John Edward Daniels and two infant brothers.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 22 a 1:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Neal Cemetery at Flippin.Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Friday and after 8:00 AM on Saturday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.Memorials are suggested to the Neal Cemetery.
