Obituary Brenda Mae Thompson Monday, 59, of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born February 20, 1955 in Monroe County, KY to the late Jackie Ezekiel Thompson and Polly Curtis Thompson Walker. She was a retired garment factory worker and a member of Beautiful Home Baptist Church.She is survived by one son: Shannon Monday and wife Heather of Tompkinsville,two brothers: Jackie Dale Thompson of Summer Shade, Billy Walker of Celina, TN, one grandson: Ezekiel "Zeke" Neal Monday and one step grandson: Kobe Nason.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister: Bonnie Thompson.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Jane Yokley Cemetery in Tompkinsville.Visitation will be after 3:00 PM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the Jane Yokley Cemetery.
