Mr. Bob Boyles, age 77, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022, at his home.  Bob was born on September 5, 1944, a son of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Dale) Boyles.  He graduated from Tompkinsville High School in 1961 and enlisted in The United States Army in 1965.  He married Suette Kidwell on October 29, 1966, She preceded him in death on September 29, 2018, shortly before their 52-year anniversary.  Bob retired in 2003 from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources after serving twenty-eight years.  He was a member of Grandview Church of Christ, an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed golfing at Hidden Hills Country Club.

He is survived by his three sons; George Earl and his wife Elisabeth of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Bobby Dale and his wife Jennifer, of Tompkinsville, and Billy Joe and his wife Lindsay of Summer Shade.  Five Grandchildren; Robert A.D. Boyles and his wife Samantha, Nolan, Nathan, Mackenzie, and Nicholas Boyles also survive.

His parents preceded him in death; Earl and Elizabeth (Dale) Boyles, and his wife of fifty-one years; Suette (Kidwell) Boyles.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 12 noon from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in The Oak Hill Cemetery.  Wayne Cleary will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 8:00 until time for services at noon. 

In lieu of flowers; contributions may be made to the Oak Hill Cemetery in honor of Mr. Boyles, those may be made at the funeral home.
