Betty Jane Wilkinson

Mrs. Betty Jane Dubree Wilkinson, age 71, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her residence. Betty was born in Tompkinsville on March 3, 1952 to the late Fred and Lottie Jane High Dubree.  Out of High School, she was a Candy Striper, and an EMT before getting her Nursing Degree and working at Monroe County Medical Center for over twenty years.  She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; Becky Dubree, Jerrell Dubree, Chucky Dubree, David Dubree, Melinda Davis, Donna St. John, Jerry Dubree, Kim Calvert, Mark Elsner, Linda McClellan, and Michael Dubree.  Her twin girls that she helped to raise, and meant the world to her; Brittany and Brandi Crowe, and a special family member that was her go-to in time of need; Mickey Russell along with several other great nieces and nephews also survive. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Robert Wilkinson, five siblings, Anne Welsh, Paul Dubree, Billy Dubree, Rondal Dubree and Lucille Dubree, two nieces; Tammy Branham and Sharon Russell, and two nephews, Tommy Dubree and Greg Branham.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Skaggs Creek Cemetery.  Bro. Willie Westmoreland will officiate the services.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. and again on Sunday morning after 10:00 until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home.
