Mrs. Betty Sue (Hailey) Wilson, age 80, of The Clementsville Community of Monroe County, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee on December 29, 1942, a daughter of the late Andrew and Versie (Lancaster) Hailey. She was a graduate of Jackson County High School, and was a Beautician for several years before her retirement.  Betty Sue enjoyed being outdoors, and gardening, she was a member of Clementsville Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim Petty and her husband Tim, of Clementsville, two grandchildren, Cole Petty, of Bowling Green, and Meagan Petty of Clementsville, one step-brother, Gene Wilson and his wife Nikki, and one half-brother, Jimmy Wilson and his wife Teresa. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Tommy Darrell Wilson, her step-father, Ethany Wilson, three sisters; Gail Rose, Willadean Meadows, Jo Ann Copass, and one step-sister, Betty Jo Lancaster.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel.  Michael Miller will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The MS Foundation in memory of Betty Sue, those may be made at the Funeral Home.

We consider it an honor to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Wilson and her family at this time.
