Obituary Betty Lynne Rich Comer age 73, of Gamaliel passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 unexpectedly at her residence. She was born July 09, 1944 in Hermitage Springs, TN to the late Ralph Rich and Merle Knight Rich who survives. She was united in marriage with her husband Voris Comer in the year 1962 in Hermitage Springs. She was a long time member of the Gamaliel Church of Christ.In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by two daughters: Sherrie Lynne Butler and husband Darrell of Tompkinsville and Pamela Leigh Short and husband Chris of Glasgow, one son: Terry Wayne Comer and wife Melissa of Tompkinsville, three sisters: Linda Ross Beckley and husband Jim of Tompkinsville, Martha Forkum and husband Garnett of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Kathy Copas and husband Tommy of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Grandchildren: Brittainy Clarkson, Paige Hammer, Bailey Butler, Jade, Butler, T.J Williams, Kayla White, Hannah Comer, Morgan Comer, Savannah Lindsey, Gabrielle Short, and Dillon Short, and Great- Grandchildren: Jett Butler, Olivia Clarkson, Jessup Hammer, Oriawna Clarkson, Levi Williams, Luke White, Paisley White, Liberty Williams, Easton White, Maverick Pulliam and Benjamin Lindsey.In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her brother Dewayne Rich.Pallbearers will be Dillon Short, Casey Lindsey, Chris White, Logan Williams, Jeromy Clarkson, Brooks Comer, Phillip Ross and Barry Forkum.Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddie & Inez Bryant, Mike Thompson, Larry Comer, Carl Comer, Reed Burgess, Garnett Forkum, Tommy Copas, Jim Beckley, Jerry Comer, John and Linda Steen and her Gamaliel Church of Christ Family.Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 07, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel. Eric Pitcock will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery.Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6 from 2:00 PM until 8:00PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel. Visitation will continue on Saturday, July 7 from 7:30 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. In lieu of Flowers Family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the funeral expense.
