Obituary Betty Lou Bowles Baxter, 74, of Tompkinsville, passed away, Sunday, May 17, 2015 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.She was born April 5, 1941 in Monroe County, KY to the late Dennis Bowles and Pauline Hodges Bowles. She was a homemaker and a member of Phillipi Church of Christ. She was united in marriage on January 6, 1962 to Max Warner Baxter who preceded her in death on July 15, 1977. She is survived by one daughter: Brookie Hume, two sons: Brent Baxter andBrad Baxter of Tompkinsville, one sister: Jessie Bauling of Sidney, IL and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by on brother: Billy Richard Bowles, one sister: Dorotha Gerald and one grandson: Max Brandon Hume. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 21 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the White Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Memorials are suggested to the White Cemetery.
