Obituary Bennie Joe Keen age 78 of Glasgow, formerly of Scottsville passed away Friday October 30, 2015 at the TJ Sampson Community Hospital in Glasgow.He was born February 6, 1937 in Scottsville, KY to the late Burnett Edward Keen and Gracie Bell Pardue Keen. He was a retired Elementary and high school Principal in the Allen County School District. He was married to Marilyn Schafer Keen who precedes him in death. He was a Member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow, KY. And a former member of Scottsville Baptist Church in Scottsville.He was united in Marriage on October 14, 2004 to Patricia Watts Gwynne-Keen who survives.He is survived by one son, Kent Keen and wife Ava of Glasgow, KY Two step sons, Peter Gwynne of Washington D.C. and Patrick Gwynne and wife Jen of Stow, Massachusetts.One sister, Mavis Stinson of Camby, IN. One sister In-law Judy Keen, of Scottsville, KYThree Grandchildren Laura Branham and husband Adam, of Scottsville, KYAdam Duvall of Glasgow, KYRebecca Keen of Glasgow, KYTwo Great Grandchildren, Katie Branham and Adlee Branham of Scottsville, KYIn addition to his Parents he is preceded in death by one brother Tommy Keen and a brother in-lawDelbert Stinson.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 3, 2015. At 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel, Scottsville KY. With burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM -8:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2015 And after 7:30 AM on Tuesday until time of funeral service at Strode Funeral Home, Scottsville.Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Baptist Church.
