Mrs. Barbara Ann (Smith) Richardson, age 80, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee. Barbara was born on July 27, 1944, to the late Dennis Willard and Lucille Humes Smith. Barbara was a member of the Tompkinsville First Baptist Church. She worked for the State of Kentucky as a Child Support Case Worker for thirty-six years and was Office Manager for Wes Stephens, Attorney at Law.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Anjanette Richardson Hughes and husband Robert of Shelbyville; one son, William Paul Richardson and Lisa of Tompkinsville. Four grandchildren; Joshua Thomas Richardson and Blanca, Brent Austin Hughes, Connar Alexis Richardson Perrigo and husband Evan, and Nolan Christopher Hughes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Wayne Richardson, and one brother Paul Willard Smith.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Bro. Darrick Profitt will officiate the service.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Barbara. Those may be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Josh Richardson, Brent Hughes, Nolan Hughes, Evan Perrigo, Gary Dale Humes, Larry Turner, Ricky Miller, and Robert Hughes.
