Arlie Clay Graves, 85, of Tompkinsville, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.He was born July 22, 1930 in Monroe County, KY to the late Farris Graves and Maggie Page Graves. He was a retired farmer and a member of Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was united in marriage on June 22, 1960 to the former Floy Coffelt.He is survived by his wife Floy Graves, two sons: Roger Graves and Wallace Graves and two daughter Janice Graves and husband Carlie Proffitt, all of Tompkinsville, Joyce Mills and husband James of Louisville, 2 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers: Cass Ross, Jody, Charlie and Otis Graves and two sisters: Thelma Graves Kerr and Delphia Graves.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 14 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
