Anthony Leon Daniel

Mr. Anthony Leon Daniel, age 66, of Mt. Hermon, Kentucky passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024 at TJ Regional Health in Glasgow. Anthony was born on March 31, 1957 to the late Leon and Adene Cloyd Daniel. He was a graduate of Tompkinsville High School class of 1977. He married Donna Poindexter on November 26, 1982.  Anthony was an avid fisherman for his entire life. He enjoyed nothing more than being out on a lake or creek bank with a pole in hand. His second great “hobby” was working on the farm, he owned with his wife. He was a faithful member of Peter’s Creek Church of Christ. And was a former member of the Monroe County Bass Club and Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association. 

He is survived by his wife; Donna Poindexter Daniel of Mount Hermon, one son; Scott Daniel and wife Ashlee, one grandson; Judson Daniel, all of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Also surviving is one brother; Timmy Daniel of Tompkinsville, four sisters; Karen White of Glasgow, Benita Daniel of Freedom, Kentucky, Sheila Botts of Mud Lick, and Sonya Ballard and husband Tim of Beaumont, Kentucky, sister-in-law; Penny Daniel of Scottsville, and several nieces and nephews also survive. 

In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by a brother Keith Daniel. 

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bryan Sircy will be officiating the service. 

The family will receive friends and family on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning after 7:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Tim Ballard, Dakota Ballard, Montana Ballard, Eric Poindexter, Randy Birge, and Johnathan Daniel.

Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Poland, Jerry Turner, Darrell Thomas, James Bailey, Kenny Hagan, Brad Thomas, James Graves, Mike Polson, Brad Shaw, Taylor Wood, Steve Hanson, and Nathan Strode.
