Obituary Anna Stanford Hay, 88, of Gamaliel passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born September 22, 1928 in Clinton County, KY to the late Sidney Stanford and Dessie Pierce Stanford. She was a homemaker and a member of Gamaliel United Methodist Church. She was united in marriage on April 28, 1962 to Welby Hay who preceded her in death on March 4, 2005.She is survived by one son: John Hay, one daughter: Barbara England and husband Eddie all of Gamaliel, three grandchildren: Eric and Cassie England, Steven England and fiancé Brianna Dodson, Kayla and Tyler Norris, two great grandchildren: Gabriel Isiah Norris and Ashton Tyler England.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two great grandchildren: Elijah Edward and Peyton Drew England.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 13 at 1:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Monday and after 7:30 AM on Tuesday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.
